[x]Name: Hödr
[x]Gender: Male
[x]Age: 4
[x]Breed: Doberman Pinscher
[x]Alignment: Virtue
[x]Sin/Virtue: Fortitude
[x]Appearance: Standing at 28” at the shoulder with a sleek build, Hödr exhibits the normal coloration of his species. His coat is black, accented by tan markings. The only distinctive features are his torn ear and the deep gash over his eye, both on the left side of his face. His right eye is a hazel-golden, and the remains of the other are white. His ears and tail are docked in accordance with the old style.
[x]Personality: Taciturn – Solemn – Aloof – Skeptical – Cautious – Headstrong – Selfless for the right reasons – Loner – Protective – Vengeful – Loyal – Controlling
[x]Other: Blind in left eye, wears a thin necklace of chains bound about a ring
[x]History: Hödr descended from a purebred line of army dogs. He was separated from his parents and his siblings at a young age, such that the only way he knew their names was through the praise of his pureblood ancestry. He excelled at his training and soon gained the reputation of being the most accomplished fighter/killer of his squadron. However, those were the times of peace.
Then came the riots, the unrest, the wars.
Hödr only improved when thrust into the heart of real warfare, for it was in his blood, in his instincts. Still, he could not help feeling the scars that the endless bloodshed and destruction wrought upon him. He watched his squadron fall, his masters and the comrades he had known since near infancy. Soon nothing was left except for him, and he was forced to let go of his noble heritage (what good had it done him in the first place?) and scrounge with the other strays and filth for survival. It was then that he met Víðarr, an age younger but far more experienced than him in the ways of the fallen city. It was Víðarr who near blinded him, and Víðarr who called for his protection. He swore it then, and held it to the death. He entered the Venial first, and knows from vague rumor Víðarr came some time later as the result of his final ‘gift’ to him. He seeks to rejoin him, and continue the oath that bound them.
