The Pale Wood The large, beautiful forest of the White Mercy pack. The trees in this wood are not brown or gray, but brilliantly white, even the winter evergreens are bright ivory rather than green. The only color here is the scattered clumps of black dirt from which the leaves and icy flowers smother. Constantly does the wind rustle the leaves of the trees, muting the quiet lullaby of birdsong. |

Mercy's Mountain As the Pale Wood draws to an end, the base of this giant, ivory mountain looms upward, marking the end of this land. The mountain is long and traitorous, but still many a wolf enjoys the challenge of conquering it. The best birthing dens are located here, in the lower, jagged sectors of the mountain. It serves as a perfect form of protection and a safe hold for pups and young mothers when enemy packs invade. |

Winter Glade A circular glade bordering the south-western edge of the forest. The grass here is tough and an icy grey-green color. There always seems to be a chill upon the air, and frost over the blades, even in the warm summertime sun. A lake centers this glade, with fresh, cold water. It freezes deep and hard during the winter months, making it near impossible for a wolf to fall through and drown. But beware the spring. |
